A Message from the Curator 11.19.2020

Dear DanceFilm Lover,

FilmFest by Rogue Dancer has been a dream for a long time.  We are now 1 YEAR old!!! Since our roll out in October (2019) we have had 13 monthly events with elegantly curated themes, 4 live screenings & shared 202 incredible international dance films (5,880 views!). In June we even added a special FilmFest by Rogue Dancer: OUtBreaK Edition devoted to the pandemic & included works made since the world’s isolation began. Our “think tank” has dreamed up enough themes to get us through 2022.

Today, we are still with you, all of us navigating our way through this COVID-19 pandemic, the world’s fight against systemic racism, equality, a divided country and hope we fight through the global crisis to a much “better” normal on the other side.

The response from our dancers and dance filmmakers on social media has been powerful.
