Rogue Dancer Productions Presents Third Friday Durham Dance Series

ROGUE DANCER PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS THIRD FRIDAY DURHAM
DURHAM, N.C. – Rogue Dancer Productions, a dance film and arts events production company, will present a new Third Friday Durham Dance Series event in December. This is an evening of MOVEMENT: An ARTS Crossover Event and will feature 5 artists, all from Durham and the surrounding Triangle and Triad regions. Event will take place at Empower Dance Studio, 109 W. Parrish St. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for art viewing. Performances will begin at 8 p.m. and repeat at 9 p.m. on the third Friday of December. Audiences will be able to watch performances for free, similar to other Third Friday Durham offerings. Artists always appreciate donations to support the work they do.
“Downtown Durham’s thriving visual arts scene in showcased by galleries and studios alike each third Friday,” said Myra Weise, Director and Founder of Proxemic Media. “With the city’s vibrant dance scene also picking up a steady momentum, now is the time to create an outlet for local choreographers to frequently show their work.”
The December third Friday will have performances by choreographer, Christiana Barnett-Murphy and performance artist, 80KV. Jennifer Tarrazi-Scully will present her dance film No Games No Fowl. The resident visual artist at EMPOWER Studios in December is painter Nathaniel Quinn.
